The Wild Tarragon or Estragon (Artemisia dracunculus) is an aromatic, perennial, medium-sized plant, which retains its underground part during the winter, while the overground is destroyed at very low temperatures. It has excellent tolerance to high summer temperatures, and although it prefers sunny places, it tolerates planting in partially shaded areas. It is a plant of relatively easy cultivation and low requirements, however, it thrives in fertile, rich in organic substances and with excellent drainage soils. Among its many properties, it is noted that it is also insect repellent, since a pot is enough to keep away - and, above all, in an ecological way - flies, mosquitoes and other annoying insects.
► It is offered at a price determined by the particular characteristics of the plant, such as the size of the pot, its height, age and shape. Large shrubs are also available for sale (and planting) upon prior arrangement. In any case, the price or prices listed are indicative.
